2009 has been another great year for us at QBIS. We are appreciative of all the new customers that have chosen to use QBIS during 2009 and also of all our existing customers that continue to keep using QBIS. We appreciate all our customers’ input regarding new ideas and features for QBIS and are proud to say that many of these were added during 2009. We are already looking forward to the host of new features and modules that will be arriving during 2010. Service Desk ModuleWe are looking forward to the release of a whole new Service Desk module aimed towards those organisations that need to keep good control of internal and customer support errands and service requests. Using QBIS Service Desk your organisation will be able to efficiently and effectively dispatch service & support requests to the correct resources and to easily follow up thereafter. Our aim is to keep the Service Desk module in the same style as the other business modules in QBIS - easy to use and user-friendly. QBIS Service Desk can be used as a standalone system or integrated with the other modules in QBIS. The main objectives of the Service Desk module is to handle requests from customers in accordance to agreed SLAs to increase your organisation’s customer satisfaction, effectiveness and profits. White LabellingIt will soon be possible to include your company's own logo inside QBIS giving the product a more personal feel. Your company’s logo will replace the QBIS Logo in the top left of the page. Clock Card connectivityWe will be launching our own clock card system during 2010 for time and attendance management. This will be an extra component that will be connected to QBIS for collecting your employee arrive and leave time and other such activities (such as flex time, vacation etc) and passing the values into QBIS. For those companies that already have an existing clock/swipe card system we will make it possible that you can connect this also to QBIS. Intranet ModuleMany of our customers have asked us: Would it be possible to have intranet functionality within QBIS? We are pleased to say Yes and this will be coming in the format of a new QBIS module during 2010. Our initial features for QBIS Intranet will include publishing news, sharing company documents, company calendar (which can also be used for booking & keeping track of resources such as conference rooms, company cars etc.) Employee SchedulesWe will be adding functionality to QBIS Time for handling employee schedules. By using the scheduling functionality you will ensure that your scheduling is optimised to produce a rota with the best-fit of employees to your work requirement. Scheduling will handle both fulltime and part-time personal and shift work. Naturally because QBIS is an Online Service your employees will be able to log in and view their schedule from anywhere. Project CalendarWe will be adding shared calendar functionality to QBIS Project making it possible to use QBIS to plan and organise project specific meetings, events and appointments. Issue meeting invitations and keep track of project members that have accepted or declined. QBIS will also remind project team members of planned events etc. With the project calendar you will be able to see a good overview of project phases, activities and milestones. Project ForumWe plan to add a forum feature to QBIS Project for sharing project-specific information with team members. No matter how and where your project team members are located the project forum will allow your resources to stay in touch with each other and communicate project-related information in an easy and effective manner. MoreThe above items are just some of the new functionality planned for 2010. We look forward to offering you improved software functionality and service during 2010.
