Call Customers Directly from QBIS

Now a user who has Skype or SIP telephony can call customer contacts directly from QBIS with a single click. Click the Skype or SIP symbol next to the telephone number and it will be dialled automatically!

Other useful new features are the ability to set not only start time but also end time on CRM tasks, whereafter their span will be shown graphically in the calendar, more custom fields for customers and an improved Gantt chart in the Project module.
 
Scheduling of Reports and Reminders

A main theme in the latest update is automation of tasks that previously required manual labour.

You can now select your favourite reports and schedule these to be automatically sent out daily, weekly, monthly or once. You can now also schedule automatic reminders for open weeks.

Another important improvement is the ability to transparently see a person's memberships in project activities and with one click copy these to another person instead of having to go into each activity and add the person.

Among other news are a new CRM report for monthly sales analysis, automatic import of holidays (so that they don't have to be entered manually), own custom fields in the CRM module, and free text search on CRM companies.

 
Sales Targets and New Reports

The August update has once again focused on the CRM module and offers an important new feature: Sales Targets. In this new menu option one can set targets for different sellers concerning activities, products, business opportunities and revenue. Set targets can be compared with actual results through transparent graphs, or by generating reports. Other report news in this update includes sales pipeline and company information.
 
Improvements in Performance and Workflow

July's QBIS update has primarily been focused on improving performance and workflow efficiency in existing features.

Performance improvements have made a number of lists load in a faster and smarter way. Improvements of workflow efficiency mean that one now directly from a CRM task can create new companies and business opportunities via popups, that one from a CRM company directly can go to its project list, that one in a mailing list can remove multiple recipients in one go and that one can assign project activity time directly in hours as well as in percentage.

Add to that task assignment rights, a CRM company report, the ability to search on project member as well as a number of other smaller but useful improvements, and we can without a doubt say that this is the best version of QBIS so far!
